CYBERBULLIYING: The Hıdden Danger Onlıne
In this assignment, I was asked to create an informational infographic about an ethical and legal issue related to technology use. I chose cyberbullying as my topic because it is a serious and widespread problem, especially among young people in today’s digital world.
While designing my infographic, I aimed to present clear and concise information about what cyberbullying is, its common examples, why it is a serious issue, and how it can be prevented. I also included practical tips for victims and emphasized the importance of being a responsible digital citizen. I used Piktochart to create my infographic. At first, it was a bit challenging to organize the content and keep the text short while still being informative. Choosing appropriate visuals and maintaining a balanced design were also slightly difficult. However, the process became easier as I focused on simplicity and clarity.
I believe infographics are very beneficial in the English classroom. They help students understand complex topics more easily by combining visuals and text. In addition, creating an infographic encourages students to think critically, summarize information, and improve their digital and creative skills. It also makes learning more engaging and interactive.
Overall, this task helped me not only improve my design skills but also gain a deeper understanding of cyberbullying and its impact.
